ANI IPRADJIAN

    ARTIST BIBLIOGRAPHY FOR ANI IPRADJIAN

“I am an artist with my own original style that changes frequently and I have been painting for as long as I can remember.

My first exhibition was at the age of 16. I exhibited ten of the most colourful canvasses in all different sizes and I still remember peoples reactions when they viewed my work.

I like to try new things with my artwork and enjoy doing them. Each piece of work I do resembles a part of my life and my paintings will brighten any room they are placed in. I work from home and have hundreds of pieces of art and I do hope you enjoy viewing my work.”

    BACKGROUND:

Graphic designer, Publisher – Editor of a childrens magazine (Your Child In Manningham), designer, artist, writer.

Studied Graphic Design, Art & Design, Visual Arts, Design, Multimedia

I have a strong design background as well as in visual arts and use both of these skills in my work. Colour concept is very important and I like to combine lots of organic colours together or red and black are two amazing colours and shades.

* Joint Exhibition: Karl and Katia Honour

Posted on February 16th, 2009 by elisabeth. Filed under Uncategorized.

KARL

    ARTIST BIBLIOGRAPHY FOR KARL

Karl is a melbourne artist. As well as the paintings you see today, he works as a matalsmith doing metal sculpture, jewellery and metal costume creation. He manufactures items for the fetish shop Lucrezia and deSade, but can often be found at Mont De Lancey Homestead in Wandin where he practices and teaches the art of blacksmithing. These artistic pursuits are an extension of his formal training in aircraft manufacture.

He is passionate about abstract art and has been painting for four years.

This showing of his continued journey into painting, explores different mediums, textures and finishes. Many are created using his favourite painting method of Action Abstraction which was made famous by Jackson Pollock.

Karl is a fan of Cubism, Colour Field and Pure Abstraction styles of painting and this is evident in his work.

Karl works with the fluidity of the paint to create canvasses that are exciting and energetic. This exhibition sees him using colour choices and method to explore happiness and joy and delves into the darker themes of chaos, frustration, entanglement and remorse.
